This Cookie Policy explains how Javier Pereira Coffee LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on javierpereira.coffee. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your computer, tablet, or phone. It lets the site remember things between pages and between visits — what is in your cart, which language you chose, whether you already closed a pop-up. We also use technologies that work like cookies, including pixels, tags, web beacons, and browser local storage. In this policy, "cookies" means all of them.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary. These make the store work. They remember the items in your cart, keep your session while you check out, apply your discount code, and protect against fraud. Without them you could not complete a purchase. They do not identify you personally and they cannot be turned off from within the site.
Analytics. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, where they came from, and where they run into trouble. We use this to fix and improve the store. These cookies collect your IP address and an anonymous identifier for your browser.
Advertising. The Meta Pixel records that you visited the store and what you looked at, so that our advertising on Facebook and Instagram can reach people who are actually interested and so that we can measure whether an ad led to a sale. Google advertising tags may work the same way.
3. Cookies set by others
Some cookies come from companies we rely on, and are governed by their own policies:

We do not control what these companies do with the information their cookies collect beyond the settings they make available to us.
4. How to control cookies
The banner. The fastest control is the cookie banner itself, and the Cookies link in the footer, which reopens it whenever you want to change your choice.
In your browser. Every major browser lets you see the cookies stored on your device, delete them, block cookies from other sites, or block all cookies. Look under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the cart and the checkout.
For analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and Google Analytics will not measure your visits to any site.
For advertising. Adjust ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, in Google Ads Settings, or through the industry tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
By writing to us. Send an email to info@javierpereira.coffee with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and we will stop sharing your information with advertising partners.
5. Consent
When you first visit the store you will see a cookie banner with two choices: Accept all or Necessary only. Nothing optional runs before you choose. Until you accept, we do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or the Meta Pixel at all, and no analytics or advertising cookie is written to your device.
United States law does not require prior consent for analytics or advertising cookies, but we ask for it anyway and apply the same standard in every country we serve. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies link in the footer of every page. Choosing "Necessary only" also deletes any analytics or advertising cookie already stored by this site.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove a tool. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
